The Magic of Oreos

It has been a long week of planning, back to school, kids activities, house cleaning, and a lot of other things that have made this week fly by.  Below is our last teaser for our Valentines Day table.  Next week we will be adding all the final touches and will have a toast (maybe several) to another table successfully created!  Check back for pictures of the final event.  In the meantime think oreos, candy, and all the fun that comes with Valentines Day.  Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!

What's In The Box?

You'll have to guess.  I am loving these adorable little boxes.  Of course this will be on our Valentines Day table.  It only took me 12 times to figure out how to pull this one off (and several loads of laundry in between), but I think I got it.  You'll have to be the judge.

Heart Day!!!

Busy Time

Trying to fit so many things in before all the family arrives.  Cleaning the house, rearranging the house, working on photos (like I need more) and getting ready for Valentines Day tables.  Before one holiday is over we are on to the next.  Hopefully we will have some sneak peeks soon.  The kids are getting restless and we are only into day number 2 of the holiday break.  I can't wait to pass them off on the in-laws for a few days!!  I have already told them all the things the family will do with them, little do they know what they are in for yet....

And I have to stop eating holiday goodies.  I have already gained 2 lbs and the feasting has just begun!

School Auctions

We are beginning to plan Sugar Scape donations for our local school auctions.  With each school having a unique theme, we have some design inspirations and challenges for the new year.  Currently we are working on a speakeasy (apparently also called blind pig or blind tiger??) and a la Dolce Vita theme.  So many possibilities for both.  We'll share sneak peeks as we create the different parts of the themes.

2011 Planning

We had our first 2011 planning session tonight over Skips pizza and Bonterra wine!  How else would you have a planning session?  And the kids actually stayed upstairs playing, except for the youngest one in the group who was digging in every kitchen drawer she could reach.

We have some great ideas and yummies we will be putting together for the beginning of the year, including Japanese cherry blossoms and vintage Easter designs.  We will also be kicking off the new year with several contest (think super yummy stuff), so stay tuned and check back often.  We are very excited about the beginning steps of My Sugar Scape and can't wait to share them with you and get  your feedback.
